GM900 BUILD DATES AND RELEASES

Featured Replies

Does anyone have some information on dates. All I know is that autonews shows no production of any gm900, and most gm800's have stopped besides av,ext, esv, I think. I am just wondering when I can expect some pricing so I can start planing
Yesterday, we were told at a sales meeting to expect the Tahoe in May and the Suburban in August. That could be just in Canada, though.
Tahoe - SORP (start of production) is 12/5/05 Yukon - 1/9/06 Escalade - 1/16/06 Suburban/Yukon XL - 3/20/06 Avalanche - 4/3/06 Silverado/Sierra Crew Cab - 10/2/06 (other variations following shortly)

Did tahoe production start? Also shouldn't we be getting pricing right about now? I mean if they started producing it already and we can expect it in the dealership next month, I think they should be releasing pricing very soon!! Any guess?

Probably not much longer from now, since they are supposed to actually be on the lots starting early next month, ready and available to purchase.

BUT, after becoming so vastly overpriced in the past couple of years, the people in charge of pricing at GM are probably still finalizing all of the numbers, which should be dramatically lower than current models to start with--the '06 DTS, for example, had a $5k MSRP drop over the '05 Deville, and these trucks should get the same if not more.

Mainly so, unlike now, there aren't any $58k+ Chevy Surburbans... :o
