December 5, 200520 yr http://blogs.zdnet.com/emergingtech/?p=96 Not sure how useful it is, but interesting nonetheless.
December 5, 200520 yr It's interesting, I guess a white car in hot weather would be nice, and black when it is cold :P
December 5, 200520 yr have A/C ducting behind certain parts of the paint so you could turn on/off paint strips and accents when you wanted to... :D "you saw a car the same color as mine speeding? Did it look exactly like mine? I mean, I've seen a car around that looks kinda like mine, but it's got graphics and stuff all over it..." lol Actually, since people who drive dangerously usually tick me off, this wouldn't be the best use of the technology. Interesting to think about though, I guess. *shrug* It's late...
December 5, 200520 yr So you could have a "mood car". -"Hey Asshole You Cut Me Off!" Red -"Go Ahead and Pass Me" Green -"This Traffic is Pissing Me Off" Black
December 5, 200520 yr Guys, if they can get paint to change colour, do you think it is only a matter of time before they get paint to illuminate? Think of it. Just have marker lights no brake lights. When you put your brakes on the whole rear end of the car lights up red. Could that be the future?
December 5, 200520 yr I'm not sure color changing and illumination are that related. One concept relates to how the material absorbs or reflects radiation, the other requires producing radiation. The idea is neat, though. Could make for some really neat (or really bland) cars. :)
