America's Got Talent

As much as I do not like watching reality shows, this got caught my eye because he grew up in the same town as my girl. Great humility and spirit. I hope he wins.

I hate to expose my softer underbelly, and I don't typically watch reality (or TV in general) much, but I'm a sucker for the sentimental, underdog storyline. He did real well.

Thing that always occures to me RE the power of music: after he performs, how many of those chickadees in the audience watching intently could he roll with after the show vs. the zero before ?? :smilewide:

He did well, but certainly not Susan Boyle-esque at all. This type of singing is a lot easier than Susan's material--one must have range, vocal strength, and a developed lung/diaphram capacity.

He's above-average, at best, honestly.

If he's going to ever be successful, he's going to have to polish himself up a lot.

Damn guy has me bawling, and when I saw him doin' it at the end I couldn't even see my monitor.

I saw this when it first aired last week.

I don't even like country music, but he definitely did his thing.
