Welcome to Design Competition #2!




At one time, they said the Corvette's little brother was the Camaro, which was fitting. Then they said it was the Cobalt SS, which was really pushing the envelope. Let's really give them something to talk about... by designing a true "little brother" to the Corvette, right down to the name!

We want you to design a brand new car off the Kappa (or Kappa II) platform that will function as a miniature Corvette. Ideally, this car would possess many Corvette (and Stingray) cues but, keep in mind that this is a brand new model to the Chevrolet stable!. Basically, this would be the small, lightweight, 2.0L turbocharged version of the Corvette. So show us your skill and creativity and may the best designer win!


You must design a new Kappa-sized Chevrolet Stingray!

That looks awesome. I would lose the Chevrolet bowtie and use Corvette badging instead. Maybe that would allow GM to sell it at a price that would finally make the Kappa platform profitable.

dammit NOS, that is hot indeed. can you add some legroom to that ride?

Nos, that is just fantastic! As for your emblem, I'd use the Stingray emblem off the Centennial Corvette concept.

RJ very nice, you always capture retro very well, and I like your use of art & colour.

Just for kicks, I'm entering this on behalf of Breckland Technology. It's based on the Kappa platform (obviously) and is powered by a 6-liter LS2 engine.
