Buicks are RWD now?

Featured Replies

Yeah, apparently the LeSabre, Park Ave, Century, and Regal were all RWD. You RWD nuts are all stupid. They were there all along and you just missed seeing them.
Buick Century's available leather-appointed seats bring the style, warmth, and comfort of leather to its roomy interior. Buick Century's standard V6 delivers more horsepower and torque than other vehicles in its class. YEs no car has over 175hp these days.

Yeah, but remember...that copy is circa 1997 when 175hp was pretty major and GM lead the way with 300hp V8s for $45,000 and 240hp V6s for $25,000.

well this is 2005 almost 2006 i think a website should be updated by now!

I have a feeling it's comparing the standard V6 in the Century to other Mid-size standard engines... which are usually 4-cyl. The Century was priced comparable to the 4-cyl competitors after all.

So in this case, the Century's 175 hp would still be greater than the 2006 competition (Accord's 166hp & Camry's 154hp.)
But actually, if that body design was built on an improved B-Body, with a LS2 V8 it will be HOT.
