IMO, this is a dumb policy. there are tons of 3-letter words to search for. I just tried to search for "Ion" (as in the saturn ion, but I don't care to search for "saturn ion", because posts may not have included the word "saturn" in them). Other terms I can think of off the top of my head include Geo, LS1, LS2, GMC...

*edit* well frack, it's not just a limit on the length of the search, it's a limit on any individual term in the search. So I can't even search for "Saturn Ion" because "Ion" is less than 4 letters. Seriously? Wow...

Our search engine is $h!, but I've come to notice most forum search engines are.

I would recommend using Google and saying: Saturn Ion site:cheersandgears.com

On the front page there is a search box. It looks like it's part of the site but it's actually powered by Google. Anything you put in there will use Google to search just Cheers and Gears.

BTW, I'm not allowed to tell you to click on the revenue-for-C&G generating ads next to the search results because it's against Google's policies.

Yeah, Blue Oval News' forums don't even have a working search engine and the 'View New Posts' doesn't work there either.

Use the google search, as mentioned. It's just better.

I've never come across a forum search engine that was any good.
