July 29, 200916 yr Author What should and should not be on there...and what have you owned? Me- Mustang Fastback (mine was 66, 68 is on the list) Original Miata 55 Chev. 57 Chev. Two other cars I love, the original GTI and the 240Z also made the list...as well as the Healy 3000, a car AI also love...and hmmm....Challenger...and the Original Riviera... Chris
July 29, 200916 yr Author I would agree with that one, Oldsmoboi. Not sure how a Checker made the list.
July 29, 200916 yr The Checker Marathon is most definitely a cool car. '59 Cadillac anything should be on there. DeLorean DMC-12 should be on there. Chevy Van should be on there. Miata should not be on there. Not that it's not a good car, I just never really saw it as "cool". Neither I nor my family have ever had any of the cars on that list.
July 29, 200916 yr I love driving this car in rally games but I really hate looking at it. So here's some pain for the rest of you.
July 29, 200916 yr I haven't owned a single car on that list. I'm with you...but it's like a who's who of cars I'd LIKE to own. Including the Checker (although I'd prefer a Superba wagon). Add in the AMC Pacer Wagon, deTomaso Deauville, original MG TF, Northstar Cadillac Allante, Shelby GLH-S, and a Bugatti Type 42 Royale, and you'll get the idea of what my Billion Dollar dream car collection would be like.

July 29, 200916 yr Glad someone else loves the TF. Chris Yes, but you might not want to align your tastes to mine. Did you miss the Pacer wagon in my list?
July 29, 200916 yr Came REAL close to owning a '51 Hudson, tho it was a Pacemaker, not a Hornet. Interesting, but I'd toss a bunch off of there (and fix the mistakes).
July 31, 200916 yr 1963-65 Buick Riviera 1966 Olds toronado Yes.... and yes. I think that the Toro gets in on the list because of the FWD but, conceptually, it's another large personal luxury coupe like the Riv. Regardless, I like both of these. Any reason the original Seville (1975) isn't on the list? Maybe because it borrowed an Olds Rocket 350 and added TBI. But what a step for Cadillac and what a nice car the notchback Seville was, prior to it losing its identity and not knowing what it was supposed to be.
July 31, 200916 yr I personally thought the Nissan GT-R getting #9 was BS. Sure it's fast and all, but how in the crap does it get ranked above a '63-67 Vette, the original GTO, '68 Mustang fastback, Ford GT40, etc. in cool factor? Those cars have all earned their place in the automotive history book, while this car has been on sale for what, a year?
