I would get the Malibu MAXX I like its versitlity and with the SS option. Its more tho of how they appeal to you. or the Pontiac Vs. Chevy thing. Plus they are for differnt groups the G6 is for Young People. the Malibu is more for middle age poeple with kids. IMO

Malibu Maxx SS

It all depends on what you want. I looked at both cars and decided on an '05 Maxx. I liked the look of the G6 better, but I wanted the versatility of the Maxx. I like the overall shape of the car but I could do without the swooshes on the sides and I've kind of grown to like the front. All things considered, I am very happy with my choice.

Well... I'm not a fan of the Malibu at all and I am hell's Pontiac fanatic... So... G6 GTP of course. Even though MT had to throw in a few strongly biased lines, they praised the actual car. That gives me some hope in it.

I haven't driven the new Malibu SS's, but all G6 models drive a heck of a lot better than the non-SS Malibus. The G6 also looks a lot better than the Malibu. I do love the functionality of the MAXX, though.

G6 GTP or Maxx SS

I know the G6 GTP got rid of the lifeless electric steering; is this true with the Malibu SS as well?

Yes, like the GTP, the SS has regular, good, old hydraulic steering. The electric steering seems better calibrated on the lower G6 models than on the Malibu.

Just because Lorraina Bobbit owns a particular type of car doesn't mean buying that same model will compel you to sever penises. I think your logic is flawed.

It really depends on what kind of car do you need. I myself should have gone for the Maxx, since I needed to haul cargo around most of the time. But I got a G6 because I got sick of Chevies (my family had 4 in the past), and I like the look of a G6 better.

I'm going to have to go with the G6 GTP, if you can afford it. If you can't, take the Malibu MAXX.

I'd recommend the Milan, sure, but he said the choice was between Malibu or G6. Malibu MAXX is on the longer wheelbase like the G6 and yet has the better interior of the Malibu, hence my recommendation for it. Also, MAXX is better for cargo.
