I totally agree, Equi. It would perfectly serve to put the icing on the cake after the GM and Chrysler bailouts (helping those companies start to pay back some of our money), and it would boost Ford.

For the record this program WILL hurt auto sales in the upcoming months and years since the people who were considering buying all pretty much did it now, if they do extend it then it will literally make everyone who was considering buying a car buy one in the next few months, leaving years of dismal auto sales.

It may also make things worse if the people who were buying these cars credit was less than stellar.
