August 2, 200916 yr I need to find the headlight adjuster for a '99ish Volvo wagon (a V40 I think). If anyone has a hookup for a used one, or knows an aftermarket source, please let me know. It's a needlessly complex affair made of plastic that just dry-rots and crumbles. I was replacing the bulb for my lanlord/employer and the damn thing just gave way.
August 7, 200916 yr Author Ordered one from Volvo - wrong part and the right one "isn't serviced". They'd be happy to sell me a new headlight though, for $280 ! Can't find any used ones. Aftermarket aren't quite as expensive, but still pricey. What a PITA!
August 7, 200916 yr Author The headlight from either a V40 or S40 will do the trick (Model year 2000). It is the driver's side. Please let me know if any of you guys run across such a thing.
