December 10, 200520 yr Usually I don't like big obnoxious rims on classsic Muscle I think 17" is as big as I would ever go. If you put 20" rims on a '69 Camaro I think chances are you have a 0.7" long $hlong. That being said I LOVE this customized Camaro. The sleek polished aluminum rims, low profile tires, killer stance, Baldwin Motion paint scheme and Super Scoop hood make it just right.
December 10, 200520 yr oooo, you're into Camaros? COOL! (((68))) That's hot... except for the traction bars. They're low hangers.
December 11, 200520 yr I'm with ocn; the traction bars are a distraction. Otherwise, it's got all the goodies. Are the rims indeed 20"s?- they look smaller: 18"s?? But I agree with you Sixty8: intermediates & musclecars shouldn't wear over 17"s (full-sizers shouldn't wear over 16"s). Screws up the relative proportions too much.
December 11, 200520 yr Author Well as it stands I've got stock 16s on the STS, stock 14s on the Datsun, stock 15s on the CoupeDeville and 14s on the front of the Camaro and 15s on the rear. The crumpled Volvo has stock rims too... 14s I think.
December 12, 200520 yr Author Or, jury rig some spinners out of old metal garbage can lids and cruise the import drags with your Datsun. Blare some really loud rap music while you are doing it to command respect from all the other ricers. [post="56893"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] I'll blast gangsta's paradise by Coolio and I'll spray paint those plastic spinner hubcaps in gold and JB-weld them to my rims. Instead of cutting the springs I'll just fill the front fenders & trunk with quick drying concrete so it'll be slammed YO! :CG_all:
