December 11, 200520 yr Could we have Corvette be a subforum within the Chevrolet Forum?....I think it derserves to be singled out.
December 11, 200520 yr Well... only if the Fiero gets it's own subforum as well. I'm sure I could keep it quite active.
December 11, 200520 yr Dudes, if Chevy TRUCKS can get its own FORUM, the 'Vette can get a Sub-Forum like the old boards...
December 11, 200520 yr Nah... Only if the Fiero gets the subforum it deserves. It did, afterall, lend the Vette (and now the Solstice) it's basic chassis design. That and it was GM's first and only mid-engined vehicle. It also lended it's plastic 'polymer' bodypanels to Saturn. The Fiero is just as significant as the Corvette... trust me. (Relax, I'm only being serious)

December 14, 200520 yr The predominant purpose of nameplate-specific subforums was to coalesce fast-paced discussion in a busy forum into one hot topic. The only one right now is the Camaro Forum. Since there has been almost constant news for a long time about the Camaro, we thought those looking for that info could find it easily if it were collected in one forum. Likewise, someone wanting the latest on the Malibu or Impala doesn't want to be bothered by twelve threads about engine specs on a Camaro. Ditto with Chevy Tahoe. You may also remember seperate Cobalt, HHr, and Corvette forums in the past. This was because those were yet-to-be-debuted models at the time and had lots of news going their way. Right now, Corvette news hasn't been so much, so Corvette has kinda been relegated into the general forum. I'll see what the rest of 'em think in the mod forum.
December 14, 200520 yr I understand your reasoning Fly, but the Corvette just doesn't belong in a Chevy dealership (with $20-30k cars) let alone in Chevy's forum mixed in with the other lower-classed autos. Plus, there's a lot to talk about with the Z06 just getting out to peoples' driveways, the LS9, and the "Blue Devil" Corvette SS speculation.
