TheCaptain's thread got me thinking.

Ever watched a movie, TV show, played a game or something along those lines and heard a phrase that you find yourself using or wanting to use?

I've always wanted to use 'Screw you guys, I'm going home!' before I die.

Copious amounts of Beavis & Butthead has also checkered my vocabulary with words like 'bunghole,' 'dillweed,' and 'butt-knocker.'

I've always wanted to use 'Screw you guys, I'm going home!' before I die.

I've used that on a nearly daily basis for the last 15 years.

Not really from media, mostly from friends, and sometimes coming up with something that sounds interesting myself. Some of the slang that started out here has definitely spread a ways...kinda cool.

Oh cock.

HA! Straight out of James May's mouth, my wife laughs at me when I say this by imitating his voice. Of course, do this in public around here and you get strange looks, but what do I care?

My latest favorite is "Bluetool" to refer to the ass with the headset having a loud conversation in public.

back when the Vee Dub commercials were new, me and a buddy would say "Oh, Snap" like the german dude when something was broken... or mangled heheh.

oh, we still use "dang it, bobby" on a frequent basis.

then random family guy quotes and robot chicken snip its with some futurama quotes for a dash of flavor.

May I never hear 'That's what she said' again...

I like 'all your [items] are belong to us'.

I've been known to use 'asshat', 'strewth', 'plorchers', and 'shenanigans' in conversation.

I always laugh when I see a red stapler or see a PC Load Letter error.

No, you can't really use them in everyday life...they're too specific to most movies...

Not only that, most anything I remember is from Eddie Murphy so I have to add the accent and I can't do that at work

Most of the friends come up with enough good material:

..."the whitest of white trash" is one of my favorites

... that I was "the welcome wagon" for foreigners in undergrad

... or a black chick in summer school between fresh/soph year in college whose change was swallowed by a vending machine and got belligerant with it: "Ama' let dis machine take ma money, or ama act a fool." I swear...verbatim.

... he "doesn't know how much he doesn't know"

Good News, Everyone!

I see what you did there. And I don't like it one bit.

Use it IRL, and three times out of five, it'll make someone 'ffffuuuu.'

Doh!

Dumbass!

No soup for you!

I think those are all of them, but I could be wrong.

"I sure would like to butter those biscuits." :scratchchin:
