I wonder when M-B is really going to break out of this styling rut they are in?

Oh wow. That's so dissapointing. It's scary when Lexus can make more attractive vehicles then Mercedes. Even more so when Hyundai designs are getting up there too. A word of advice to Mercedes: Your loyal customers aren't going to stay around forever when you take away any sort of style from your cars. You're also going to lose people who aspire to drive a Mercedes. Look what happened to Cadillac. Now GMs working overtime to try to get people to buy their cars again. Since your quality and reliability isn't really up there and people are starting to notice that, styling is all you have these days.

You perfectly articulated the state of M-B....I agree completely.

The only thing I don't like is how the the angle of the hood blends into the rake of the windshield. It makes it look "Asian". A flatter hood would have looked better. The rest looks O.K. to me.

The went a step backwards with the headlights. I kinda liked the peanut shaped lights the current one has. This new one looks like a previous generation civic roofline with Aura headlights and a benz grill.

Wow that is nasty. I guess MB isn't having just quality problems anymore. If you have to copy even the smallest bit of Civic design language you must be desperate.

This is my honest opinion. I love Cadillac, but I'll admit when something else appeals to me (most Infinitis, for instance). However, this does not. It's not shouting down, it's merely stating an opinion.

Looks like a Chery imitation Merc. The side windows don't even fit the doors.

That is just an illustration, but if it does look anything like that it will be pretty disappointing for MT. The slope of the hood reminds me of our old minivan.

It's sad what has become of Mercedes. Flybrian has it right.

I don't think it look's bad at all. I'm not that big of a fan of the A4, it's alright, but the IS look's the best, followed by this and the 3 series...

That's so sad... that it's hilarious. I hope it's not going to look like that. Otherwise, I may laugh myself to death from the pure hilarity that this depressing sign of MB's future presents. Wow... :blink: :lol:
