December 15, 200520 yr The recent Audi concept whose name I cant remember had reinvigorated my love of shooting brake/2-door wagon/hatchback thingys. Since we dont have a Nomad or extended wheelbase Mini(yet) I'd have to go with coupe followed by wagon. New or used, you know, whatever. Edited December 15, 200520 yr by Satty

December 15, 200520 yr Author As like many other people here. I'm guessing you get along GREAT with balthazar, Sixty8, and oblu...
December 15, 200520 yr Small 2-seater - SKY Coupe- GTO or Cobalt SS or Corvette even. Sedan- just leased a 500 for practical reasons (big huge comfortable safe car for dirt cheap) but if i had a less restrictive budget there are far too many choices to mention. Wagon/Hatchback- BMW 5 series all wheel drive with stick. Saab 9/3/ or 9/5 sportcombis. Any hot audi wagon. The IS sportcross was even nice. SUV- Probably a Tahoe/Yukon if i could swing the gas bill. The Endeavor is probably the best sporty carlike crossover for cheap right now. The new Edge/Aviator is not out yet. Freestyle is good but I passed on it for now as its heavier than the torque taxed 500. A used X5 with stick would rock. Van- 2007 Quest with revised interior. Otherwise it would mean waiting for the next Chrylser vans. Truck- F150 or Chevy. The Nissan is cheap and junky feeling all around. Used?- again, too many variables.

December 16, 200520 yr Let me add another one as well: Non-North American Version 2-seater: Opel Speedster or Vauxhall VX220 Coupe: Nissan Skyline V35 Coupe (No G35 please... [post="62563"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] No offense Mule......but I'd rather have a loaded Camry SE, probably in black with the tan leather interior, V6, navigation....than I would the ES330. The Camry's a better deal....and the SE feels crisper in the handling department than the ES330.... You know....for as BLAND as the Camry is....the SE, with the right options....is a very nice Toyota....

December 28, 200520 yr Limiting it to cars actually in my budget...and it's hard to limit it to just one, as there are multiple contenders that I find appealing in each segment. Small 2-seater: Miata (the usuable trunk and better interior does it for me) Coupe: GTO or Mustang GT 4 seat convertible: Mustang GT Sedan: Acura TL, Audi A4, BMW 3-series, Lexus IS, or maybe a Caddy CTS Wagon/Hatchback: Audi A4 Avant or Subaru Outback SUV: Jeep Grand Cherokee, BMW X5 or VW Touraeg Van: N/A Truck: N/A Used: Mid '90s NSX, '90s Porsche 911 (993), 2001 or so BMW M5, or an '02 M3..
