NEXT SATURN SKY?

Featured Replies

Looks sweet, but I see no reason to get hopes up yet, since the only reason this is even brought up is because:

French automaker Peugeot - frequently mentioned as a possible supplier of future Saturn cars

So it's A car from A potential supplier. That logic includes dozens of cars that could become Saturns. The only reason this one is mentioned is because it's a neat car, not because there is any even somewhat solid reason to think it might happen yet.

I drove the wagon version of this and really liked it. Awesome car. But for Saturn, it's looking more Renault/Samsung/Nissan than Citroen/Peugeot.

penske ought to just let the saturn name be a store name and sell the brands, renault, peuguot, citroen.

i think they would have more brand equity selling the actual brands instead of putting the lame ass saturn logo on a killer car.

love that dash. simple, straightforward. steering wheel is sexy even. those seats, my uncarraige would tingle sitting on those.

I have to wonder if Penske might have intentions of selling Saturn to Renault/Nissan in the future ...

Neat! Love the bubbly top!

But I echo what has been posted above: all indications are that Saturn will likely turn to Renault-Samsung.

That is HOT!

It really is a nice looking ride, isn't it. Makes the TT look sort of plain in my opinion.

I'd rather have this than a stupid Z BMW.

Saab needed a car like this.

I think I read Penske was just looking at Renault or it's South Korean arm Renault-Samsung motors.

I definitely see a lot of Audi TT in this. This vehicle looks pretty good. Which is very rare to say of any Peugeot vehicles or any of the other French automakers which seem to be very comfortable designing extremely quirky vehicles these days.

This +1

Not a bad looking little car, but alas, it's french and therefore it will look like this in no more than three years:

I hope you're being sarcastic, because otherwise you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

Your right ........ we have no idea what your talking about.

If you think current French cars rust away after 3 years, then

Sure......what ever you say, ok then we agree.

Who keeps bringing this thread back? Saturn is gone. Rennault is not going to bring this to America.

Also, stop trolling and trying to pick fights.

I don't see anyone trying to pick a fight, nor do I see anyone trolling. We all know that SATURN is dead and thats much better then it being operated by Penske selling any car under the SATURN name. :smilewide::smilewide:
