We talk about all kinds of meaningless crap in The Lounge - why not this?

Everytime that the douche bag cleaning people come into our office and put in new toilet paper rolls, they place them so they dispense/roll from the bottom. It bugs the hell out of me, especially at a critical time. At home, the roll dispenses from the top. Virtually any household I've ever been to has the toilet paper dispense from the top of the roll.

Does this irk you as well?

Funny you should bring this up... I was just talking to my friend 5 minutes ago about toilet paper. I took my goddaughter to the bathroom at a diner once... I layered the seat completely three times (I know, overkill), and I went to pick her up and put her down on the seat when I realized, she only has a 4-inch wide butt LOL

My TP dispenses from the top at home. Anywhere out that has those monstrosity-sized dispensers always seems to come from the bottom, in which I end up ripping it after 1 thin square. And no, I haven't a square to spare.

Happily everyone in our house is in agreement: over.

the people in Vegas are interested in knowing what the...."over / under" .......is on this thread................

I choose under. Does that make me a communist?!

Hmmm...got to translate...by 'Over' do you mean from the front--'B' in the diagram---and by 'Under' do you mean from the back--'A' in the diagram?

If so, I prefer from the back ('A'). I think the reason it's done that way is to conserve use (pulling from the back usually results in less pulled off than from the front.)

From the front also makes it too easy for pets to grab some and make a mess...

Over. It's easier to get the right amount of sheets to do the job, just stop the rotation with one hand and tear with the other.
we actually discussed this in the past. and i was wrong.

Well, it's one of those important issues that come up from time to time...lately, though, I don't even bother putting TP on a holder...I just keep 1/2 dozen rolls on top of the tank and roll off what I need, and a 24 pack in the closet.

Cuticle, sounds like you may have some sort of problem. Seen a doc?

Perhaps it is time to invent that "toilet paper dispenser on a backpack" you've been thinking abote. :scratchchin:

Nah, I'm just lazy about putting the TP back on the holder--it's one w/ a spring and a pain to change out.. :)

The guest bathroom usually has a roll on the back of the tank because nobody bothers putting it on the holder.
