December 17, 200520 yr I'd love to have a car from this period, almost any car from this period wiht a manula trans. & shifter on the floor!
December 17, 200520 yr Biscayne... what a great name for a full-size Chevrolet that breezily dismisses the competition while confidently cruising down the interstate. Rear wheel drive and the best engine ever made... the smallblock. What could be more perfect? B)

December 18, 200520 yr I always liked, to quote Blu, 'breezy' names for Chevrolet. Bel Air, Biscayne etc. Chevrolet in the sixties seemed to have a California, surfy image, fresh, young, well 'breezy', Beach Boysy, Bewitchy. Love that image it used to have. I love that pic, sixty8...just simply fantastic. Chevrolet had such a purity and yet recognizable. More and more I am liking partially hidden wheels in the fender wells. It's a look I hope comes back one day. Maybe not to this extreme, but the essense of this.
December 18, 200520 yr Ever hear 409 by the beach boys thats the car they are talking about if equipped. It could also have a 283 though or a 327. But thats the car . I just saw the engine pics that is a 409 or a 348 also called a W motor because of the shape of the heads . Cool car I would love to own it . Edited December 18, 200520 yr by mrmonte
December 18, 200520 yr Not to be pi$$y, but Biscayne is not Cali- it's Florida all the way. And I think it's a great name for Chevy to bring back.....
