December 17, 200520 yr Without the Tahoe, it would be 2005 all over again (and GM is one company that doesn't want to see that happen). The all new 2007 Chevy Tahoe delivers the numeral "6" (part of the "2006" ball that will drop New Year's Eve) to New York's One Times Square building, signaling Chevrolet's Times Square involvement on New Year's Eve. Chevrolet will launch the all new 2007 Chevy Tahoe that evening, raising a pair of matching Tahoes high above the crowd with custom 20' tall hydraulic scissor lifts as special musical guest Mary J. Blige performs two songs on Chevy's custom stage in the heart of Times Square. The performance will be broadcast live on "NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly, Presented by Chevrolet," which airs at 11:30 p.m. EST. (General Motors Photo)
December 17, 200520 yr On a side note, what the hell is Carson Daly still doing hosting significant events like the New Year's Eve celebration, much less living?
December 18, 200520 yr The new Tahoe is a sharp looking SUV. It's big, but svelte, and sporty. I like it a lot. Sequoia is a log by comparison. Edited December 18, 200520 yr by ocnblu
December 18, 200520 yr Please tell me their will still be meathead Clark(unlike last year)! [post="60350"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] At this point, he's supposed to be there, unless he has another health issue that prevents him from showing up. He's almost 80 and current in a wheelchair according to what I saw on the news, so you never know... On a side note, the Tahoe show should be awesome, and unlike last year, they'll actually have a REAL new vehicle to show with the "Revolution".
December 18, 200520 yr Regis blew last year. Why can't they get someone young and hot to do it? I want a New Year's celebration with Rachel Bilson!!

[post="60961"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] we have an automatic word censor? Anyway, am I the only one that is slightly worried about 2 Tahoes perched 20' above the crowd at Times Square?

[post="60964"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Well, thinking of it, I kind of am now...particularly considering GM's general tendency to complete something to 85-90% and stop... Not that the cranes they're using will be GM's, but, well, you never know... EDIT:Don't anyone hate me, I'm just joking...I think...
