Internet Speed Test

Featured Replies

This is a neat thing I came across. Site lets you test your ISP speed. You can compare it with speeds from around the world and you can post your results here and in your sig or whatever.

No geniuses, I haven't "just found this out" However I just found this site out, and the other speed tests sites I've used didn't let you keep a .png of the results.

show off :P

Seriously though I mean I have broadband how can I make my speed higher?

mine really blows.. it used to be about 2.5X that (download), for whatever reason..... :(

comcast has speedboost which for the first 10 seconds of a download triples speeds. so after that first 10-15 seconds it goes to what he pays for like mine goes to 6 Mb/s or 700-800 KB/s download. the only way to get faster net is to pay your isp more.

once that docsis 3.0 stuff comes in the area i am so getting it 50-200 Mb/s of goodness

mmm Fibre!
