Cali Liscense plates

Featured Replies

As some will notice on some of the new California Liscense plates... with the 7 digits and the cursive writing of "California" some of the plates come with an additional phrase "150 sequential years" at the bottom of the plates... what does it mean ? (I dont know the answer)

Sesquicentennial...which means a 150 year anniversary basically.

HAHA that's awesome! Only in California......
150 year anniversary of the founding of the state. I've already got one of these in my plate collection. Ebayed it. :)
I was goingto say they can't be all that new since I've had mine haning on the wall for a year+ and it was used on a vehicle for a year....

These came out in 2000. Californi entered the union in 1850.
