Some news everyone saw coming-apparently the CEO thinks Isuzu has a chance-I'm not even sure what the point is anymore.

You know he has to put on that fake smile and "go get 'em" attitude for the employees and dealers! He can't be the only person on the planet earth who doesn't believe that Isuzu will leave the light-duty market in the US in the next two years.
I saw a LWB Ascender today. Its sad, it even had the same rims as the Trailblazer, just without the bowtie center cap.
Ascender is actually an Envoy clone, not TB clone.
GM just needs to up the warranties on the other 360s, then the one real advantage Isuzu has is gone, no need for the company. Its a shame I liked the Amigo and Joe Isuzu was awesome.

Joe's daughter was my #4 daughter's amigo. Ahh ... that and $2 will get me a cup of coffee.
Pity. Isuzu made some nice cars and SUVs. I liked the Hombre, although it was just an S10 clone. I liked the flared fenders, good look if you want to make it a base for a sport-focused truck.
well... GM is dropping all of the extended models, due to the plant closing in february... isnt that right?

Yes, that's right.
