A poster over at Sky Roadster Forums has found a YELLOW SKY, with an Automatic Transmission, sitting pretty in someone's driveway over in Michigan. Click on the link to see it for yourself:

A great find GMC!.....looks so different in this color. Not my first choice...but I still like it.

Wow, that's very nice. I don't think I'd get a silver SKY because you loose some of the nice chrome details, especially the little slots on the hood.

I still like this car in darker colors:

Ummm, no thanks. The yellow is too flat and contrasts too much with the black top. This car needs a metallic paint in a darker color.

Its about time they get an automatic. The Solstice/Sky was doomed to failure as a stick only model. Now the other 93% of buyers might take a look at these cars.

I agree with you SoCalCTS. I am interested only in the automatic, so seeing a picture of this car with it relieves me a little knowing GM is building test cars with them.

As far as the colors go... I wanted Bluestone until I saw a picture of that car. I never wanted yellow - on the calendar the yellow looked to be a pastel color; color code is the same one as on the Cobalt, and it shows here - still don't like it :P I now want the Dark Blue (code #25) as pictured in HarleyEarl's post; it was color choice #2 behind Bluestone, but I don't like that color anymore. I saw the Forest Green on a SKY back in November - not crazy about that color either. And while I like the darker silver (gray?) GM is currently using, I'm not sure if I want a sports car like the SKY in that color.

I don't think the yellow works as well here. It's not bad, I just think that shade belongs on my Cobalt and not a Sky, especially a convertible with a black top...

Is the Solstice going to be coming out in yellow next year?

I never noticed those hood slits. It definately looks better in a color that shows off the chrome detailing. I love it!

The yellow would be nicer if it were more pastel-ish, IMO.

I think it speaks volumes about a vehicle when you can put it in such a horrible color, and it still looks sexy as hell.

yellow does make the chrome stick out in an odd way...not sure if i like it. H.E. I like that pic of the dark blue, but the dark red reflection made me think a..hm.."blood red metalic" could look pretty damn good too

The friend of mine that's already placed a deposit on the Sky is ordering it in yellow. Doesn't surprise me because his Saturn SC2 is yellow as well. I showed him this link and he flipped out. lol.

this is probably the bestl ooking car to ocme out of GM in decades.

It's much nicer in Black because of the contrast with the chrome! Yellow should lose the chrome!

The Sky looks good in any color. Check out Saturnfans.com for pictures of a green Saturn Sky and they also have a yellow Sky there too.
