SKY rear spoiler

Featured Replies

Here's a link to a picture posted over at the Sky Roadster forums. They're questioning if this is the optional rear spoiler that will be available on the 2007 SKY:

Anyone here know if that's the official spoiler option? I think it's the one for the Redline version (notice the dual exhaust outlets).
The dual exhaust makes me think this is the Redline Sky, similar to the Solstice GXP getting a rear spoiler. That picture though looks very familiar to me like one I saw a year ago.
That looks a lot like the pic someone got out of a brochure or something, probably a prototype for the concept.

I found almost the exact same picture on the other GM website and that picture was from an old Saturn brochure. If you want to see the picture send me a private message as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links and pictures from the other website. My point is that is an old photo.
It could be the Sky Redline. In a Pontiac brochure (G6 I think) there were a bunch of clay models, and one of them is VERY similar to the front of the Solstice GXP.

I scanned that picture over a year ago when the brochure came out. That was when we thought the Saturn Kappa would be called Evoke.

Oh, I know that picture was in the 2005 Saturn full-line brochure. I was questioning whether or not that was the optional spoiler or if it was going to be specific to the Redline model (as the car pictured seems to be the Redline because of the dual exhausts). On the Sky Roadster Forum, someone has posted a link to another website showing what the actual spoiler looks like. The pictures were taken by an employee at the factory; I won't post the pictures here, but click to see the post for yourself.

The spoiler doesn't look very good at all in those pics. I see they fixed the alignment issue with the glove box though.
