Anyone watching Barrett Jackson on Speed TV?

Featured Replies

A '67 Olds 442 just went for $100,000. That's the only one I've seen break the 100k mark so far. A '32 Ford Pro Street with over $135,000 invested in it only went for $45,000. Ouch.

Yes a few times, I dont really like the mood, to me its like "they" are taking over the collector car market too. Good for restorers and current owners and traders but not good for do it your self low budget collecters like myself. Now everyone that has a old rust bucket sitting out back thinks its worth 10,000 just as it sits. Exageration of course but it has made some people think they are sitting on a gold mine. that is what is nice about being into more obscure cars like Delta 88's and LeSabres. But then we cant go and buy reproduction quarters, fenders, door skins, grills, ect. while the muscle car crowd can buy all this stuff new.......for a price. I guess it has its pros and cons.
That's just a rerun of last year's show...BJ 06 starts Jan 14th.
Let me know if you see any '69 Camaro COPO clones go through.... esp. in Fathom Green. It might be Sean's car.
