I understand what your saying, but I fit like a glove in my 2005 SLE and if I was over another inch or two taller it would not work for me. I am just happy on "paper" it should have some extra headroom. I fit good in a G8 better than I did in my '05 at least. Extra height doesn't automatically mean extra room.

Seat height adjustment makes a big difference... some cars have more vertical adjustment, as well as the fore-aft and backrest angle. I usually have to do a bit of adjustment to find my ideal position..it's so annoying having to recline the seat back too much to compensate for lack of height adjustment (as I've had to do in some lower trimmed rental cars).

The G8 had both, I do believe. I am going to have to look into this as well. Your are correct it makes a huge difference. I can get the seat just right (all the way down that is) in my SLE without "laying back".

Quick Update:

Sounds like it is no problem at all and they can make it happen no problem. Which is good since I like them more and more each day, then again that new LaCrosse is damn nice.
