Think they'll have webcams this year?

Featured Replies

After last year's Lucerne debacle, does anyone thing there will be live webcams at any of the auto shows? I'd laugh my ass off if they make the same mistake twice. Webcams+running videos of new releases=stupid, doing it twice=really stupid.
They did that when the current Aveo debuted. I don't recall any shows other than Chicago having webcams though, but I could just be mistaken.

Chicago is the only one I remember having them too, but if they do I'm sure GM (and all the other mfrs.) will go to great lengths to make sure they dont give sneak peaks like we had last year. I still have some of those pics, too.
I know they will do a webcast for the Camaro, but I'm not sure if you're thinking of a more general webcast?
He's talking about cameras placed in the building. The past couple years at the Chicago show you could use the cams to look around the building and some people found the Lucerne and some other debuts sitting on the show floor before they had been unveiled. Thus, we had pics of the car before any "official" pics came out.
