Looking for Editors

Featured Replies

I am currently in discussions with a contact at GM for C&G to receive test vehicles for us to review. I am looking for editors to join the staff who would be willing to review and write these articles. I can only accept one or two positions. You must be over 25 years old, have access to a good digital camera <no camera phones>, and be fully licensed to drive. Some ability to write well would be helpful. There may be further requirements.

Add me in Drew. I will love to do that.

  • Lives in Sunny Florida - with a nice private race track 3 miles away from me - if testing requires performance testing.
  • Have a place in Detroit, where can directly pick up GM vehicle.
  • An open straight stretch of I-75 - ideal for fuel economy runs.
  • A good suburban road - ideal for city fuel economy runs.
  • Has a 10.0MP digital camera, APS-SLR camera - and in process of buying D-SLR (test drive incentive will drive the desire of getting one soon)
  • Never been pulled over by a cop (not kidding)
  • Previous go-karting experience
  • Motivated, Enthusiastic, Long-term Goal Seeker, Driven :D

I'd do it.

Shame I'm not over 25...I'm in a geographically desirable area to perform car reviews.

Ugh, same. Not even 18 months away, either.

At first I didn't give this much thought, but when I did consider my situation...

  • over 25
  • fully licensed
  • wife wants a nice digital camera (digital SLR type)
  • current location provides various terrains (desert, mountains, flat highways, etc. mostly at high altitude) and weather conditions (dry heat, cold, rain, snow, wind)
  • I want to take roadtrips anyway
  • have been published in a technical journal

Wait, you got MARRIED?! Congrats.

This is a very cool idea, and I hope whoever gets the job loves doing it enough to make it a solid, long-lived addition to the site.

I'd qualify, and Im not doing anything right now, but Im Canadian. Im guessing this is a US gig?

Z-06 sounds like a good candidate!

I don't know that it's limited to the US. Send me your qualifications anyway.

Yes I did... Thank you!

Yeah, I'm a journalism major...but 5 years too young.

I could do it... As long as it's local.

And I do spend a fair amount of time driving, with the 2 hour (each way) commute from my apt in the city to the house in the mountains.
