November 6, 200916 yr Eh just feels that way. Imagine going through all that again knowing what you know now. Would you do it with that in the back of your mind. Think about it. Homework, getting reprimanded, having to..........
November 6, 200916 yr I don't like living in the past. What's done is done, and I'd rather look toward the future than let the past bog me down. (also, of course life is easy when you're like 4) Neat truck though, what model is that International?
November 6, 200916 yr That's a nice photo and I hope you are just reminiscing. If you aren't then +1 to move forward.
November 6, 200916 yr 'dat you, Camino ?? Dig the '67 Travelall !! Hell yes, life was more simple then. Doesn't unilaterally make it 'better', but it was simpler. My son is in the basement hammering on something that started with a flattened aluminum Coke can he cut apart. I love that he's not glued to a screen (at the moment) and is actually accomplishing something..... I should go check on what it may be....
November 6, 200916 yr Author Nothing serious guys, just an idle comment. Balthazar: It's actually a '65 Travelall (and quite new in the pic). We had it forever. EDIT: Oh yeah, that's me (with a friend). Edited November 6, 200916 yr by Camino LS6

November 6, 200916 yr Ahh: I gaffed on the grille. '63-64: same, '65-66: same, '67-68: same. My bad. -- -- -- -- -- >>"I don't like living in the past. Depends, most of my relatives live thousands of miles from me, and I see them once maybe every 8-10 years.
November 7, 200916 yr Author That there little Stude wagon'd prolly look cooler with an LS9 under the hood. Yes it would! I wish it still existed - what a unique ride! Edited November 7, 200916 yr by Camino LS6
November 7, 200916 yr Depends, most of my relatives live thousands of miles from me, and I see them once maybe every 8-10 years. "Now, DF, this is your grandpop! Grandpop Ed ... you remember, don't you?" "N-not really; did I see him earlier today, mom?" "No, but you've seen him a good 2 dozen times.... and there's the pictures on the piano....." "Pffft! I don't waste my time lookin' at those old things when I can daydream about the World of Tomorrow! I wanna soar!" "That's quite enough of that, young man! Go wash your face for dinner!" "But mom, surely I washed my face... at some point recently.... {I just can't remember when...}." Trudges off, but reappears momentarily. "Mom! Which way to the bathroom, and why am I headed there?" The end. Edited November 7, 200916 yr by balthazar
November 7, 200916 yr Author Somewhere there are pics of that Stude in its original color - you'd gag if you saw it. My Dad had it painted shortly after buying it (new). Belive it or not, in these pics it is an extremely dark blue, not black as it appears.

November 7, 200916 yr Interesting how some faces are very unique. Having met you...hmmm...in some ways your face is very much like it was when you were a kid. Wow. Thanks for sharing the pics! Chris
November 7, 200916 yr Both of my grandfathers passed away years ago. One when I was 5, the other 2 years ago. You DO realize that was all facetious, or did I get 'Ed' and the piano right ? C'mon DF, untwist a bit, the weekend's here.
November 7, 200916 yr Sure was simpler back then. No friends, no life, depend on your parents for everything... Oh wait, that's me now.
