C&G is your official GM Enthusiast web-site from this years NAIAS' 06 and we have your first glimpse of the Buick Enclave! This image may not be in the best of quality but you get the idea. The Enclave was described as being "very elegant" with a very impressive interior. Stay with C&G throughout the course of the day as we provide you with information & imagery from GM's Heritage Center in Sterling Heights.

We're excited as ever!

OMG... it had to be only 10 minutes ago I was posting in another topic about how we had NO shots yet of the Enclave! LOL

Looks promising :)

I see a more of a cross between lucerne and velite cues in there rather than Centieme but maybe better pictures will show a better idea. I do like what i see so far.

Yes, the concept will feature three portholes on both sides of the hood.

I know that we can only see a small portion, but it does look substantial, upscale, and, to use Lutz' words of long ago, "like a fine jeweled watch" (or whatever he said).

hmm whats that thing on the bottom of the windshield?

I also see chrome accents now (where the lacrosse has them and etc)

and we know it's called Enclave, look at the writing on the top right.

The grill looks like it'll be a really "looker". I love the headlamp treatment. Though I can't see them, I'm happy that the ventiports will be there. They are an absolute must, IMO. I can't wait to see the whole thing!!

Looking good, and Paulie's new picture is not bad, either. :P

Thanks

Thanks

whoa is that you? I've seen your old pic..youve changed :o

that or I cant remember

either way cool

So it's a 6 cylinder.

apparently 8 cylinder wont be avaliable at start (maybe it's a new v8?)

evok confirmed that the Lambdas won't be available with the new 4.7L UV8 at launch, and only the 3.6 will be offered at first.

is the 3.6 going to atleast be rated at aroudn 250/250?

and 4.7 uv8? what kind of power/mileage will we see with this? and will it be dohc or pushrod? (I miss pushrods :( )

If my parents buy an suv (they love the pacifica cause it's a crossover) I hope the 3.6 gets good milage, and over 245 hp (common my cousin has a murano, I gotta compete with him  he also has a Z, but buick doesnt have $h! that can compare to that...hmm...now I gotta mod the century )

this brings another thing to mind, it is very possible that the lucerne super will have the uv8 is it not?

The front has more Lucerne influences than I expected, but it still looks great.

After looking at it more, does anyone think the headlights may be a bit too big? Maybe they just look so big because it's a close up of them and it could look fine when show with the rest of the vehicle, but they look overly large to me.

What do you know of the new 4.7L UV8?

What do you know of the new 4.7L UV8?

The only thing we know is that it's OHC (probably DOHC) and should have all the goodies... VVT, direct injection, etc. It will eventually replace the Northstar from what we've heard, so that means it should be available in RWD and FWD versions.

I thought that when I first saw it, but I didn't want to pass judgement until I saw more pictures of the whole vehicle.

It looks bland and boring >> J/K It is totally the opposite, elegant and yet sophisticated.. I really do like what I see..

When will is be revealed?

It looks pretty good. I have high hope for the Lambda's. :)

I don't think the headlights and grill are big enough.

I was just checking the media.gm.com site and it said "Video Webcast: Buick Enclave Concept Vehicle at NAIAS, 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan 8, 2006." I went to the link and started the video stream under Buick. It says it's Eastern time, so that is 10 minutes from the time of this posting.

Thats like, now.

!!!

EDIT: go click buick...its streaming RIGHT NOW, about to begin!!!

Watching it right now. 2 minutes to go. This is exciting!

So far, a bit over the top. lol

ARG... it keeps giving me an error saying it can't access the clip, that it might be in use by another person!!!

OH WOW!

Its a Velite crossover!

Looks fantastic!

Wow, it looks larger than I thought. Grand sports tourer, anyone?

Okay, it was that I was trying to open it in Firefox.. I went to IE and it opened fine. It's really beautiful... I just wish I could see the interior!

Geez talk about long winded. 5 minutes on a chair? Another 5 on a Bicycle? Then about 5 seconds of the Enclave.Followed then by a mob scene.

Gorgeous! The interior vents look kind of weird though. Need to see a better interior shot.

Now THAT'S what I call a Buick. It looks curvy, beefy and upscale all at the same time. It looks pretty huge. Overall, I think it's great. Nice job. I hope the interior looks just as good as the outside.

omg fianlly buick!

This is a great looking vehicle. There is no way GM will produce that interior as is though. It's nicer then any Cadillac or Lexus on the road today!

It has a very Mercedes look to it but stays original.
