January 14, 200620 yr Author can you show us where he says this He's says it in a video on GMTV, but I don't think he means it will be on the road, just that the production model will debut. Maybe at LAIAS 2006 #2?
January 14, 200620 yr Maybe at LAIAS 2006 #2? November 2006 is the second LA car show. 2 shows this year only.
January 14, 200620 yr oh god how could they compare the enclave to the automotive train wreck known as the R-class
January 15, 200620 yr You know the Enclave's good when it has more comments than the Camaro Concept. That speaks more than anything I have to say about it since this is my first comment on the vehicle. Edited January 15, 200620 yr by Cananopie
January 16, 200620 yr November 2006 is the second LA car show. 2 shows this year only. It's actually Dec. 1 - 10, 2006.
January 18, 200620 yr does anyone else find it interesting that the camaro thread only has 5 pages when this enclave has 8? seems funny to me
January 18, 200620 yr No matter what anyone's expectations of the Camaro were, it was going to be a midsized V8 muscle car and the general look and everything is more or less predetermined. Things like the Enclave are more radical. Truth be told, Camaro wouldn't even register in my mind if GM announced the debut of a new Buick flagship above Lucerne at the Chicago or NY auto show. Not only would I likely never buy a Camaro, but I have no idea what a superBuick would look like, therefore piquing my interest a whole bunch.
January 18, 200620 yr that makes sense. i guess...... the enclave is like 90% production isnt it? According to Lutz 99% production. I commented about how all that needs to be said for the Enclave was that it had more comments than every other vehicle at the NAIAS on our forums, even the Camaro. And that's saying more than anything else to me.
January 20, 200620 yr According to Lutz 99% production. I commented about how all that needs to be said for the Enclave was that it had more comments than every other vehicle at the NAIAS on our forums, even the Camaro. And that's saying more than anything else to me. This is great to hear, the Enclave needs to be 99% production. This looks stunning and makes me want one...
January 21, 200620 yr What chassis it on? Any dimensions known? According to the Buick website, the Enclave is:Legnth: 202.3" Width: 79" Height: 71.1" Wheelbase: 119"
January 21, 200620 yr What chassis it on? Any dimensions known? i don't think we refer to thinks as 'chasis' any more. it is build on GM's lambda platform
January 21, 200620 yr In relation to a unibody design, the chassis is simply the suspension, axles and steering components etc., much of which may be shared with vehicles on a different platform or even from another automaker.
January 25, 200620 yr I just don't understand how GM thinks. They are bringing out the Saturn version first and then the Enclave. Buick needs product!!!!!! Fu**K Saturn!!!! Saturn, Saab, Hummer should all be sold off... BUICK NEEDS PRODUCT NOW!!!!!
