January 9, 200620 yr I was wondering. But i want to shift to firefox since i heard alot about it. Is it easy to use is it cool. or should i just stay with IE. can someone give me info on firefox?
January 9, 200620 yr I use IE and other than getting viruses because I'm a horny little bastard and I visit sites I shouldn't... I've had no problems with it. I'll continue to use until I get a new PC. Who knows when that will be, so I've learned which sites are bad and which are good. Haven't gotten any viruses or spyware for awhile now... Anyways, one thing I don't get is how FF is easier to use? Maybe it's because I'm used to IE, but how in the hell is it easier to use? I mean... IE is child's play... I don't get it.
January 9, 200620 yr Firefox has a tendency to play animated GIFs at hyper-speed. Other than that, it's just like using IE.
January 9, 200620 yr How is Firefox faster? Two little words: Tabbed Browsing Firefox is less prone to virii. Pages seem to render faster for me, but if you're on dial up, you'll never notice the difference. Opera is ok too, but I like Firefox's interface and add ons better. There are thousands of useful add ons available and easy to install.

January 9, 200620 yr yup...IE 7 will have it though ...and IE 7 will also have Microsoft's terrible security and slow-to-load pages. Also, IE displays grahpics really poorly on my laptop, while firefox is fine!

January 9, 200620 yr Firefox: I like the tabbed browsing a LOT, but it crashes sometimes. IE: I don't have the virus problems cuz I don't go to risky sites, and it seems more stable than firefox, but no tabbed browsing.
January 9, 200620 yr IE crashes far more often for me and is far less stable. The only time I have had issues was on myspace with a lot of imbedded media files...but now that I have 1.5 that problem has gone away.
January 9, 200620 yr I have "AvantBrowser" it also has the multi window in one like Zoomtm showed. Except it is in the form of a taskbar at the bottom of the window...
January 11, 200620 yr Author Well im using Firefox right now. Just downloaded it today. So far its ok. Not bad.
