Since I was at the dealership making an appointment to get the wife's bumper repainted (they've done it once already), I figured I'd ask how much it would cost to get the rust spots fixed underneath 2 of her doors, since we are keeping her car. And they did a good job on the Balt.....

500 bucks for those spots! Damn!

I would like to make it look nice, but not for that price...as much as I hate to do it, sanding it off and spraying on some Por may just be it.....

I can probably get the whole car done for $1500-1800...and that's for good work, not a crapy MAACO style repaint.

$250 a panel is pretty much the going rate for paintwork.

Sad part is that they are just little spots under the door, pretty much right at the seams...common in this genation of J body...it's not like anyone can see them. I'm just that anal....

The paint and body of this car are in really good shape (I wax the heck out of this car). Even with the bumper chipping, it still looks good.
