January 12, 200620 yr As you can see I've started you next to the missing children's office (heh.) So you bolt through the Macomb Hall doors and blaze past the Ford trucks, the black Mustang GT on the stand and the black Ford GT on the stand. You get momentarily sidetracked by Jeeps huge rocks and waterfall display. "Ohh purdy" you say. You then snap out of it and cut across the corner of the Chevy display next to the orange HHR and the Hybrid Tahoe that IS there. You can see *it* now and you start crying. You reach the turn table and walk around it once very slowly. You can then see that you are overcome and must run to the bathroom before you soil yourself. On the way back you notice the Hummer H3 display where its crossing the fake river. Once again you say "ohh, purdy." You then go back to the Camaro turntable and sit there Indian style ALL day. Eventually you are helped away by GM PR people telling you in calming tones that it will be OK and you can come back tomorrow. Edited January 12, 200620 yr by CD/BP
January 12, 200620 yr Author Why is VW the only one with its logo and tagline below its name? Pretty sure they paid for the printing of it. The entire other side of the map is a VW ad.
January 12, 200620 yr haha Depends how early you get there on if you join me or not, AAS... Gonna be there an hour before opening?
January 12, 200620 yr What day are you guys going? I'll try to wing it at work but who knows now with this damn promotion.
January 12, 200620 yr Cort, AAS (and friend), Ray, and I (and ray's bro) are going Saturday.. (the 14th)
January 12, 200620 yr Cort, AAS (and friend), Ray, and I (and ray's bro) are going Saturday.. (the 14th) *nods* That's the plan ... BUT ... I will not be there as early as you. The plan right now is for a buddy of mine and I (I'm not sure I should be taking that 7-hr or so drive by myself right now) to leave here EARLY Saturday morning (5amish or so), so that we'd arrive around 1pm. Yeah, I know...late. Sorry . January 12, 200620 yr Holy $h! Dodge is hogging a lot of sq/foot-age... VW get's the shaft and gfot stuck by the Escalador. HAHAHAHA!!! NOS: stop starving yourself.
January 12, 200620 yr It's too bad that I'm 5 hours away from detroit and my Spring semester starts on Monday. I would've gone in a heartbeat.
January 12, 200620 yr haha Depends how early you get there on if you join me or not, AAS... Gonna be there an hour before opening? Considering my flight is scheduled to land around 9:20 am, and the show opens at 9? Don't think I'll be making it on time, but I will catch up with you guys at the Camaro. I figure you'll spend a few hours there. I plan on using up most of my pictures on the concept! Josh: What time do you get off work? I'm sure we'll be at the show pretty late, and there's always a bar for later on!
January 13, 200620 yr Author Oh by the way NOS, I believe you'll be fine taking in whatever girly coffee drink you were asking about. Iced Cappa-rappa-frappa-chino, half-caf, extra foam was it? But before you do...read my sig. Edited January 13, 200620 yr by CD/BP

January 13, 200620 yr No that's perfect. 1-2ish should be good.. then like 3-4ish is lunch time? Hmmm.....well, not sure yet. I'm a bettin' we'll stop to eat lunch somewhere en route ... and then eat dinner in the 5-6pm range. *sighs* While I was reading my message boards last night, I about had a heart attack trying to "track" and "arrange" everyone's schedules for this...he he he. Course, there is still a slight possibility we won't be coming ... I'll know more tomorrow....
January 13, 200620 yr Alright, well just let me know. I can go all day without food (well, except dinner lol). Call me up or (probably better yet) text me.

Dude taht car was born to wear dover white with hugger orange stripes. B) I know, isn't it effing sweet? My favorite color combos so far are that and white w/ double blue stripes. I'll probably order mine in orange though (if applicable --and get white stripes painted on).
January 14, 200620 yr Alright, well just let me know. Heh...already did, since I called you a few hours ago. Sorry I won't be there...for a few reasons.... First, I really can't justify extra expenses since I've been out of work for a month & have medical bills coming in due to the gallbladder surgery. Second, time ... while I've done "spur of the moment" 24-hr "odd" trips before [Dad & I have left Chicagoland early on a Saturday morning, driven to Pittsburgh, taken in a Cubs/Pirates game at PNC Park, & then driven back home right after the game], given that we'd only be at the show for maybe 4-5 hours ... that's not a lot of time to see the cars &, more importantly, meet up with all of the people from the various boards that I would want to see. And, third & foremost, I'm still not at 100%. The last few days, everytime I eat, I get cramps/pains in my abdomin. I think it's just a matter of my body adjusting to not having the gallbladder, but it is quite annoying.... *sighs* I'm very sorry ... & personally disappointed that I won't be in attendance this weekend. I hope that there will be other times to meet ya'll...one of these days....
