Woah, HarleyEarl... is that the new Epica/Verona/Magnus in your sig? I must have missed the debut; I thought we only had spy pics of it so far.

What vehicle should General Motors have that they aren't producing now?

A Chevrolet that not only competes with Toyora Camry and Honda Accord, but exceeds them in every way.

*takes a deep breath* Pontiac... ME sports coupe (Fiero), FR compact coupe/sedan/hatch (Grand Am), FR midsize coupe/sedan/hatch (Grand Prix), FR fullsize sedan/hatch (Bonneville), FR sports coupe/conv (GTO), and FR sports crossover (Torrent). Not all are missing, so basically it's my ideal lineup. Whatever...

Light-duty trucklet along the lines of the El Camino or (horrors!) Ridgeline.

Buick Electra 225. Make it a big RWD sedan with all the trimmings. Large-displacement V8 with 6-speed ATX. Price it similar to the Chrysler 300C, but make it prettier, with plenty of color, chrome and wood trim inside.

Again... many:

Camaro

Cobalt 5 door

Monte Carlo

Kappa 5 seat car (think Nomad)

ION

Ignoring all the vehicles that are in the pipeline (NG Malibu, Aura, "probably" the Camaro):

the Cien

a Cobalt convertible

a RWD full-sized Buick (at least as big as a Lucerne)

a mid-engined car for Pontiac, in the sprit of the original MR-2

a Kappa Saab

a Wrangler-like Hummer

a Saturn coupe or sedan with a V8

Modern day Caprice (affordable RWD sedan).

This guy knows what's he's talking about.

We've got the Camry/Solara/Avalon/Accord/Maxima wannabe with the Impala, Monet Carlo, Lacrosse & Grand Prix... I know they seem like good products but just STOP trying to beat the Japanese at their own game.

Chryler figured it out why can't you GM? The way to get back a lot of sales is to build American cars for Americans. Make a plus-size Charger/300 competitor for all three midline divisions: Buick, Pontiac and of course Chevrolet.

RWD

full size interior & exterior

looks that can be mistaken for nothing other than a American sedan/coupe

claasic names form the glory days... no "CXR" or "GPS"

call them Biscayne, Chevelle, LeSabre, Invicta, Regal, Bonneville, Grand Prix, Catalina or even... *gasp* Caprice Classic. :P

A better compact than the Aveo - a modern version of the Saturn S-Series, without the oil burning issues.

Everyone except Z will recieve gifts when I win the lottery this summer. That's what you get for not saying Fiero/ME Pontiac... The most important car in the world. Bastards... :P

Another one that's missing is a car based truck, like Bobo mentioned.

Riviera

Toronado

Eldorado

All large two-doors with four-seater options and convertible variants.

Period.

I think the most glaring missing vehicle in GM's lineup is a large rwd Buick, and I like the idea of calling it the Electra like someone earlier suggested.

I'll just add something for those wishing for a large RWD Buick. If I ever get my ass into gear and finish it, I have a sketch of one that I plan on calling Invincta (v2.0). Started it a few months ago... :D

Monte Carlo

*chuckles*

Ya know, I was going to post this last night, but I figured I'd better not. Glad you did, Mr. NOS :).

What's it like to buy your favorite car brand new? Wish I knew...
