Well, considering New England is under a foot of snow 8 months a year, they take their driving tests in a plow truck. So, yeah, they got a lot of 'em. JK.
December 7, 200916 yr You seem to have a number of my favorite 2-door SUVs as well! I see a fair amount of 80s-ish El Camino's being driven around too. I thought I saw a late 80s/early 90s Chevy K3500 with a dumpbody and plow for sale while I was out on Sunday. I can't find a listing anywhere online for it, so I need to find some time during the daylight to go back to where I saw it sitting with the For Sale sign. It was white.
December 8, 200916 yr We have an '87 Caballero in the shop right now, a tree branch fell across the front of it, didn't do much damage, luckily. It's silver with gray lower, front air dam, and red and orange stripe around the paint break area. 4.3L V6, in good shape except for a dent in the rear bumper and RH quarter (unrelated to tree damage).
December 8, 200916 yr Author Those 4.3s are the only factory injected Caminos/Caballeros ever built. I've never driven one, but I expect that they might be quicker than the carbed 305s.
December 8, 200916 yr New England also used to have a ton of AMC Eagles driving around... but I think the attrition has finally made them fairly uncommon, like the rest of the country.
