Working for a Foreign Company

Featured Replies

I've done it a couple of times in the past..worked for a Canadian-owned company and twice worked for Israeli-owned companies (the Canada-based company was bought by an Israeli-based company then sold to a Fortune 500 US company in the 5 years I was there)..

As long as the benefits, salary, etc are good, the work is compelling, and the money ends up in my checking account, it's fine with me..

I don't think theres anything wrong with it...

In my case it's a Canadian company, although it retains the name of the Swedish Company the Canadian company merged with a few years back. And, formally, I am an employee of the Portuguese subsidiary.
