I just thought "what the hey", and decided to give you this trivia.

True or False: The 1963 Gibson Firebird solid-body electric guitar was designed by a designer from Ford. (If true, name the designer.)
True or False: The Fender Mustang and Gibson Firebird were introduced before the cars with their namesakes were.
True or False: A Chrylser Turbine Car could produce maximum torque at 0 RPM.
Geeze and I thought the answer was Billy Gibbons I actually dont know what a Gibson Firebird looks like. Only Melody Maker, SG and LesPaul unless it was the flying V so I cant answer #1 #2 Maybe but the Firebird concepts were very old, the Mustang may have proceded the Mustang but Im really not sure on that one either because the only Fenders that mattered to me was the Telecaster, and Stratocaster, the rest were more entry level. I think maybe some of those Guitar bands like the Ventures may have used Mustangs but I dont know if they were before 64 or not. #3 False, in 1965 the Rover turbine car was drivin to a tenth place finish at LeMans drivin by Jackie Stewart and Graham Hill ;-) but its sunny down here with the Malibus out to lunch
#3 True. 425lb/ft of it at 0RPM. Remember, its a turbine engine. I could also run on anything burnable - kerosene, JP4, Chanel No. 5 - with no conversion.
Somebodys got to explain the function of this to me then. I was kinda thinking a turbine needed to spool up before it had anything going on.
Anyone else care to answer before I give out the correct ones? (Nobody's going to get this right...)
1. False. The designer was from Chrysler.*
2. True. Both the Gibson Firebird and the Fender Mustang were introduced before the production versions of the Pontiac Firebird and Ford Mustang. (The Firebird by 4 years, the Mustang by about 6 months.)
3. True. The Chrysler Turbine car could produce about 425 pound-feet of torque at 0 RPM. (Other turbine cars, I don't know.)

*Bonus: Tell me the designer.
Of course what was I thinking Ford had no designers Well It couldnt have been Exner because he was canned sometime early 60's. But maybe it was Exner. OK Exner ! King of the wings. He later grew very long hair and created the Flying V, giving a personally autographed one to Randy Rhodes Was the Firebird the guitar Johnny Winters played ?
