I came across a few old car commericals in the past few days, and thought I would share it.

With the exception of 1 commerical, the rest represent everything that was bad about advertising in the 70's and 80's. Cheesyness to the utmost extreme...... bad music, lots and lots of it (with the exception of 1 song).

This first one is an ad for the Nissan (or as metioned in the ad, Datsun) 300ZX. I think it's 1984. Keep an eye out for a feature that's on a '06 Civic.

This is also a 300ZX, but from 1995. GIJoe. Barbie. Van Halen. Enough said.

This site is interesting. Contained are promo videos for the 1982 and 1983 Firebirds, and if you scroll down you'll find 2 30 second ads featuring the 1985 Camaro lineup and the IROCz-28. Also is a Motorweek test of the 1987 Camaros, which some were equipped with the 5.7 liter engine used in the 'vette.

Mid 1980's Mitsu Precis.

This is what a Charger looks like....... a 1970 Dodge Charger 500. One thing I've wondered....... what's the significance of '500'? I know it's not NASCAR related.

Then they took the Charger name and ruined it. It's the 1975 Charger. It's a Charger...... just slower, uglier, and fatter. Yay!

Enjoy.

That Nissan Z commercial brought back memories: "major motion" and of course the Z's tagline "awesome".

The 1975 Charger is beyond words; how could they think people would "love the change [they] made?" It's a f@#king Cordoba with louvers over the rear quarter windows. Gross!
