I just noticed something... are the CTS Coupe and Converj designs based loosely off of the Cien? Look at these side profiles:

Converj

The only thing I see inspired by the Cien is the tail light shape and how it goes into the quarter panel.

As much as every other Cadillac Art & Science concept.

I just feel that there's much more influence from this concept on these two designs, not so much in the others (CTS, XLR, SRX, BLS, etc). Look at the sharpened taillights, very raked windshield, razor-like C pillar, especially on the Converj look at the side sweep and sweeping headlight design...

Maybe, but then then all of them are coupes and coupes tend to have more steeply raked greenhouses.

I saw it from the start. I always felt the present cars and show cars all came from the Cien. The Converj for sure shared a lot with the Cien.

I had hoped the new XTC had been a large 4 door version of the Converj look.

I see it, but I'm not sure if it's a matter of designers taking the Cien and using it to shape the lines of the other designs, or if they simply reached a similar final design by taking the 2dr layout & applying Art & Science themes. I could believe either one.
