January 21, 200620 yr I don't like the design of this new Aveo-now not only is it on a dated, unchanged chassis along with an underpowered, unchanged engine, but now it looks just as ugly as the Nissan Versa. Still a better car than Kia Rio, but I'd like to see more differentiation and sportiness between Wave and Aveo. And if something as bad as that grille (also similar to the Torrent and Montana SV6 grille), just kill Pontiac!

January 21, 200620 yr Pretty much, yeah. And the small car market is stronger, hence things like this, two Metros before, the whole Asuna brand, SMART cars, Echo 3-door, and the lame Acura Civic.

They must REALLY love the Pontiac image or something...
January 22, 200620 yr It's interesting that Canadians have historically embraced the Pontiac brand more than Americans...maybe there is a book in there somewhere, as to why that is. My family liked Pontiacs as well.
