I hate the front, but like the rear.

hondaaccordtourer010.jpg

Usually, the front of a car has a "face", but in the case of the '59 Chevy, the rear end has one, too. The cat eyes complete with brows, the little fangs sticking out beneath the determined upper lip...

Astra wagon looks pretty sweet, if it really does look like that. Shame the sedan (Excelle) looks like crap. I think even a five-door hatch would have been better, as its trunk looks tacked on.

Very nice.

The end for today

What a fitting end to a barrage of sweetness. But we mustn't stop there.:)

ADMIN: Lock the thread

There's a Matador wagon just like that white one (except in dark green)right down the street from me - garage kept and perfect.

I always liked them the 74 coupe was the fastest car in America that year with the 401cid mill, but that was the performance drought period though it was still faster than the 'vette :confused0071:

Lakewoods are cool but Gen II's are my fav

Lakewoods are only cool in that they are funky and different. The Gen IIs are a much nicer design overall, I have to agree with you there.

Yeah the same designers did the Panther/Camaro after GenII Corvair the back of the cars are quite similar.

They were known as "pig nosed" in the day. With all the 5mph bumpers at that time they were tolerable. Strange thing on my Mom & Dad's street there were 4 of them & only one wasn't a pig nose, go figure Oh and my 65 pink Rambler Classic 660 Cross Country.
