Pristine in and out and mechanically sound, but that's not enough to stop the owner from using it as an organ donor.

How much? Where is it? Does it drive? Somebody close enough to pick it up and send it to MI?

If you're serious, let me know. It's about 45min from me.

Let me get the wife's blessing first.....but if it is as good a shape as it looks, it's worth a shot.

From what you guys can see, what do you think?

Wow, that is a nice looking '86 Pontiac Grand Prix!! I wish I had the extra cash to buy it and slowly work on it. I wonder how hard it would be to find all that is needed for the frontend? Did he say why the frontend is missing? Blue being my favorite color (though dark blue), this would be a great GP for me to have as a collector car (okay, well collector to me). Anyone care to loan me some money? balthazar, care to donate your time with trailering this home for me? j/k

If you want to check it out and give a report, that would be great ( :AH-HA: ). Not saying I CAN buy it, but it has defintely caught my interest ( :AH-HA: )

. I am curious as to the story on the frontend, and am wondering what other problems exist with this car. If I were to buy it, it would serve as a summer driver and cruise show car. Of course I'd have to find money for the car AND the missing parts, and attempting to match the paint could be quite a PITA. But I'd love to save this GP though.

I'm curious to see what he would take for it....

And the other issue, getting the car back here with no headlights....

I agree, take a look Z, grab us a few pics!

If the front clip and a few minor things are all it needs, then it would be worth it....

And the other issue, getting the car back here with no headlights....

Just drive during the day. And use hand signals instead of turn signals.

I was more concerned with the hood, and the presence of a hood latch.

Of course, you could always make up a "temporary" headlight widget that magnets to the hood and alligator clips to the battery.

Besides the front ed it actually does look very clean. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure it would make a good project car for someone who is into them.

I assume the front end is gone because that is where they started parting it out...

god i imagine adding this to my fleet..... not even the cash right now as trying not to be up to four vehicles again

I mean getting it here to MI. Once it's home, I'm not worried....

Thats what I'm talking about. I'd drive it to MI, but I would schedule it so it was a daylight run.

So, who's going to check it out and post a report with pictures for those of us with inquiring minds? :AH-HA:

So, what's something like a GP front clip going for nowadays?

No one is willing to check this car out for daves87rs? I wonder if it is still available?
