3 Tesla Execs Dead In Palo Alto Plane Crash

Featured Replies

Jalopnik's Story on Tesla Executives Death

A twin-engine Cessna piloted by a "high-ranking official at Tesla" crashed into an East Palo Alto neighborhood today killing pilot and two other employees aboard. We don't think it was Elon Musk, but haven't heard back from a Tesla spokesperson.

Its like Tucker all over again...

Also, not trying to make light of the situation, I thought it was ironic they flew into power lines and blacked out parts of Palo Alto... if the plane was electric, it could have used the lines to recharge the batteries.

It is a shame, though. I don't understand why these rich guys feel the need to fly planes themselves. I also wonder why Tesla would permit putting three valuable Execs in one amateur flown plane.

saw this in the local B.K. it is sad and seems crazy of them to do such things.

Wow, what a freak story. Think Lutz is counting his lucky stars for all the days he successfully piloted his fighter jet to work?

Conspiracy theorists online say they were taken out by Big Oil as Tesla poses a threat to them. I think it was probably an accident, something mechanical or perhaps due to pilot inexperience.

While I see these conspiracy theorists being a little premature, if something else crazy happens to Tesla, I could see there being huge conspiracy theory stuff going on for years... easily enough to eclipse the Tucker conspiracy. There are just too many rich people threatened by a company that hasn't even gotten a head of steam going yet.

People died on a plane crash, the lives of people with families were lost. It's just a sad and tragic event for those people and their families... So I have trouble understanding the paranoia behind conspiracy theories...

And thats just what the big oil execs WANT you to believe.

Seriously, I agree... it is a sad and tragic event... but there are some people out there who would systematically kill everybody on Earth in the name of greed, so paying someone a few bucks to screw up the plane is not beyond the realm of possibility.
