Camaro at Houston Auto Show

Featured Replies

I went to the Auto Show today with low expectations. Didn't think the Camaro would be there. There was a considerable amount of people there however. The new Escalade was there to meet you at the front door, drawing a moderately large sized crowd. As we walked through, finally getting to the Chevy exhibit, and looking through the new Tahoes that were out on the floor. Then I saw the 5 projection screens that said "Camaro". And all I said was "Theres no way..." So ignoring everything, I ran over there. Needless to say, it was the single largest crowd of the day gathered around this beast. You could hear mumbles from the crowd "Man that car is beautiful" "Why would I get a Mustang?" "30 miles to the gallon!" "Wow...." made my way through the crowd and there it was, in all of its glory. It is so freaking nice. Its just breathtaking. The interior couldn't be seen, most of it was covered, but it was the exterior that everyone was enchanted with. My dad even came away saying "Thats the next car I want." It's just so perfect. Here are some pictures of the Camaro, in red, at the Auto Show. Im going again on Friday, to take one last look at it. Im smitten.

Ditto, fbodfather told us it would be at Houston and I've been waiting to see some real life pictures of the red one ever since. Thanks!

Too bad you couldn't make it to LAIAS with the gang... :AH-HA_wink:

I  the 2nd-gen influence on the rear. I'll take mine just like this, but with a drivetrain.

Man the more I see this car, the more I want one :)

Considering the $h!ty travel schedule I had that Friday (getting to NAIAS), I'm glad I didn't try to cram another LAIAS trip in as well. I really wish I could have made it, but luckily there is the next LA show in December. :)

What other car this year even has testicles, except for the Challenger (oh, I forgot the GT500, whoops!)?

This thing is totally breathtaking... damn. :AH-HA_wink:

I hope this car comes with a fold down license plate like the "Mercury Mystress" cause I want to have $@# with it. :P:ph34r:

But seriously how about that intrigued limp-wristed chick in the upper left corner of the first photo? (red blouse) Future Camaro owner perhaps?

I don't know...her facial expression looks either sad or bored..doesn't seem excited.

What I'm wondering are where are the mullets ?? :)
