Am I Crazy?

Ever since the Saturn Ion made its debut, I've always seen the 1991 Chevy Cavalier Sedan in every exterior styling element of the car. (Well, except for the side scallop and the wheels on the Ion.)

Anyone else see it?

Yes... I think it's the four doors that does it.:huh:

I guess what really makes me think of the other is the crease that starts at the top of the headlights and runs to the taillamps. See what I mean?

 Oh yeah! Now I see.

I just see two dull GM FWD compact sedans with 4drs.

I guess it's mostly me then. I just can't help thinking of it!

Guess having a mom that owned a '93 Cavailer as a kid must have given me a bad childhood trauma.

front grill design, creases are pretty much universal, but the facia design is def

thank god the ion got a new front fascia!

But the new one isn't that much better. It almost looks like the one on the original N-Body Malibu before the 2000 refresh.

Wow... first Fly's drunken crazy thread, now you too!?!?!?:P

Um, I'll say what I did in his thread. One shows why GM sucks and one shows why GM really sucks. In case you can't quite figure that out... it means GM sucks. :D Hopefully I'll be saying "used to" soon...

I see the resemblence, their both ugly, plain, cheap cars.

Its a shame people see GM through these eyes.

I'll second that motion.

As far as the "crease" I think 40% of todays $h!boxes have it.

Are you referring to the upsweep on the side of the Saturn, because only Saturns have that...?

Yeh, I guess it was a matter of time before I had my own "crazy thread." :D

(And the way things look in my life now, there may be more of 'em. Some will not be car related.)

And the way things look now, I think we'll be saying "used to suck." (Can't quite grasp the thought of a $43,000 dollar Tahoe in LT trim, though.)
