February 25, 201016 yr There was one about 10 minutes from me.... tho that had to be a good 8 years ago. I like all the flat front pickups: Dodge A100, Econoline, the FC Jeeps- just different.
February 25, 201016 yr Author I've never seen one either. I wish they had better pics. Given that the Focus is now well on it's way to being totaled out, I've been looking for another car or truck. My main focus (no pun intended) has been 01-03 SVT Foci and 99-01 Mustang GT's. Just something to have some fun in and something I can pay cash for. However, the builder side of me wanted to look at 68-69 Firebirds and 70's era Jeep J-series pick ups (One of the coolest trucks on the road IMO) And that's how I stumbled across this jewel.
February 25, 201016 yr I like! Speaking of old cars, does Sixty8 still frequent the boards? I thought he did not have a computer at the moment.
February 25, 201016 yr Author Here's an interesting Frankenstein: http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/1602490394.html Would LOVE to have a Trans Am, but I physically cannot fit into them well at all. And given my crash luck, I don't want it to become a death cage.
February 25, 201016 yr That's cool..have only seen a couple Jeep FCs before. Most recently, saw a yellow one w/ a stake bed at a car show about 3 years ago. Neat design.
February 25, 201016 yr Those are cool. Just by coincidence, a bunch of us were talking to one of our insurance reps yesterday about his '62 Econoline van, and I mentioned the period Chevy video on YouTube about the CO Econoline pickup truck putting its chin in the dirt on hard braking.
