February 2, 200620 yr Interesting info. Here are a few interesting things I learned... I am older then toyota (from the date it started production in the US) GM has over 3 times the number of RETIRED workforce compared to active workforce, where toyota's is about 30 times LESS Average hourly wage for NON-SKILLED, assembly line worker: GM ($31.35/hour), toyota ($27/hour). Besides toyota paying their people a little less, what really shocked me is how MUCH a "non-skilled" worker gets paid!
February 2, 200620 yr What does a non-skilled laborer do? I'm interested in that job... Edited February 2, 200620 yr by Sal Collaziano

February 7, 200620 yr Well, I've learned that GM treats there workers and factories better then toyota. and that toyota doesn't put as much time into each vehical.
