How could it NOT? STS-V with 469HP? XLR-V allso??---Why not??

Fair enough...I missed the announcement that at the same testing they hit 469 with the STS and 463 with the XLR... Sorry, I have been in and out...I miss something from time to time. Maybe I should also point out that the announcement was 2 days before C&G shut down...there was a chance I would have missed it. :P Ok, edit #2: The first time it tested it recieved 443 HP while the STS-V recieved 469... The reasons given was that the STS-V had more underhood space for air induction and exhuast. Despite that, at 443 it was supposed to be quicker due to the power-weight ratio. I'm not yet sure about the validity of the XLR-V having 469 yet......

The STS-V has 469HP under the new standard, but the XLR-V has 443HP. GM says the reason is that less air gets to the engine in the XLR-V than the STS-V.

Here is the press release.
