Did this happen when she got married?

Took care of a customer today. Her name, you may ask? LUCY KUNTZ. I swear. No lie.

I knew a woman with the last name Kutz... she pronounced it Kootz. Maybe it's pronounced Koontz.

'least her first name wasn't 'Jucy'.

Ahhh : didn't catch the first name at first...

Way back in the day I delivered pizza to a woman named Sandy Beaver.

As far as OB's post, I wonder if she's related to former Detroit Tiger Rusty Kuntz.

Did she seem irritated?

Hah! Lucy makes it better, but Kuntz is a common name where I'm from in PA. Owner of 2 dealerships, GM and Chrysler. Their logo, oddly, is Jesus fish too.

Never thought of it "that" way until I saw this...heh :AH-HA:

My last name is similar-enough to be (erroneously) pronounced as such. It's something I've gotten used to; she'll learn quick if it wasn't her maiden name.

Maybe she's related to these fine folks:

Well, her problems could be just beginning if she goes by her middle name. If you have a Renee Dick it could be a sign of an STD.
